IELTS Essay Topics - Why Music Beats ComprehensionIELTS Essay Topics: Why Music Beats Comprehension? Simply put, they are the best way to achieve high scores and move up in your own class. It can take a while for you to really believe this, so let me tell you why I think this is true.
When you first start out with IELTS you will be learning a large range of words and ideas. You will have to remember a lot of different bits of information, and in order to do this you must combine what you learn from short-term and long-term memory. When it comes to this I can only recommend one thing. And that thing is to start studying about music! When you study a song or a piece of music for IELTS, you're basically studying to answer a question. That question is probably about the interaction between the structure of the song, and its quality. For example, if you learn about a certain rhythm of a song in the top third of the song, you will learn about an 'ideal'. Now this isn't the only type of 'ideal' you learn about - it's just the one that most people will discuss. How will you answer the question that you're learning about? Well, in all honesty you'll be answering it from a purely musical perspective. And this is because music is the basis of all culture, and it is the reason that we even understand the concept of 'music' in the first place. So when you start learning about a song, you're learning the structure of the song and what it means to the listener, but you're also learning how to interpret music into something tangible - i.e. This is the same process that IELTS works through and if you don't make it a point to start looking at music and studying ityou will struggle to grasp concepts that you're learning in your IELTS class. All these skills come through practice, so when you start looking at music, you'll find a lot of examples that you can repeat and study. You could also create your own compositions to show that you're mastering each aspect of the theory and then take them to real live IELTS and BCIT exams. Doing this is a great way to get a good IELTS score, and it also means that you will not be so afraid of trying new things, like starting a song with a completely unrelated tune. Music can be picked up in ways that words can't, so it is well worth learning how to do this, whether it's by watching movies, listening to music, or studying from real life examples. You can pick up a huge amount of IELTS knowledge through studying this way, and if you're a fan of anything in particular, it could actually be easier than just relying on the teacher. Be creative with your questions, and with you knowledge of music. The downside of a musical essay topic is that it isn't particularly all that easy to finish. It might take you longer than traditional textbooks, but this is generally compensated for by the sheer amount of reading that you're doing every single day. You will want to get into the habit of getting many hours of reading and studying throughout the day, as this will help you with your IELTS essay more so than just reading a book. No matter what IELTS subject you choose to focus on, it is important to understand that the context of your essay is often much bigger than the actual paper itself. Many people think that IELTS essays will be easy, but it doesn't work like that.

Why Should I Write About This Subject? Why should I write about this subject? I should write about this subject because I enjoy writing about it. There are several reasons to write about a subject. There is something about writing about the subject that makes it more interesting.
Now I know that I am not saying that I love writing about subjects other than subjects that interest me. But it's much easier to find something interesting when you are not already fully engaged in the subject. You are now free to focus on one topic, instead of having to be doing everything. A very simple way to do this is to write about your subject. Sure, you may not be really that good at what you do. So, you will have to work at it, but you will get more pleasure from writing about your subject, when you have a good understanding of it. The reason that I feel that writing about your subject is important is because I am aware that I have to present the information that I have collected in an informative manner. Now, why do I have to present the information? Well, it's simple, because that is the only way that the reader can understand the information that I am presenting. If I give you interesting information about the subject, then, it will not be interesting. I would have to re-write my material and present it in a different way, because the information would not be interesting to the reader. Therefore, I can write about it, because it is more interesting to me to write about it, than it is to someone else to read my information. Now, what is your reasoning, if you think that you have to write about a subject because you enjoy writing about it? My answer is that I do not like to write. So, I would have to work really hard to come up with something interesting when I am already writing. Yet, even then, I have the option of using a much more efficient approach. I can use my own imagination. Even if I don't write as well as I should, I can still come up with something very interesting. It might be a few words, but it will be interesting to the reader. What is the result of this? Well, the result is that you can easily come up with some of the best writing. I mean, if I can come up with an interesting piece of writing, I can certainly come up with something even better. I hope that I have helped you to come up with an answer to the question, why should I write about this subject? |
